Hawera people who recently represented their-valuation difficulties to vthe' Prime Minister appear to have madeVa definite impression, as Mr. 'Massey indicated to the House to-day that'he be-' lieved that some valuations made during the war period were-too-high., and ho h&d been in touch with the ValuerGeneral for some time with a view to. reducing them where' it was clear that they were unfair.
