N THE PATEA SEAT. TN response to a largely signed requisition I again offer myself as a candidate for the Patea seat at the forthcoming Parliamentary election. ' I am standing, .as # an Independent Eeform Candidate. Although a supporter of the Eeform Party, I cannot support their present financial methods and unfair taxation. The strenuous. times ahead of this Dominion and the chaotic condition of the Opposition in the present Parliament necessitates men of some independence and financial knowledge representing the taxpayers of this try ..(we are all taxpayers directly qt indirectly). I shall put my views on the political questions of the day fully before the electors prior to the election. . As in my previous contests I have complete, confidence in the sound judgment of the electors. Yours faithfully, G. V. P?EARCE. I 30,7,14
