MEMBERS' SALARIES.

SYDNEY, Oct. 6. I Sir George Fuller refused a request ' by a deputation of Assembly members '. of both parties that the salaries of i country members be increased from : £600 to £875.. The deputation pointed out that more than half the Assembly j was favourable, and sought permission " for a private member's Bill. Sir George Fuller replied that if it was passed he j would instruct the Treasurer nob to sign cheques.
