CONSTANTINOPLE, Oct. 5. ' A French communique dealing with the Mudania conference says that Ismet Pasha has raised fairly categorical objections to certain points, and the Allied generals are examining these. There is a common wish to arrive at a settlement, keeping the Turkish interests especially in view and endeavouring to reconcile them with the minimum of indispensable guarantees. The Allied generals also conferred with the Crreek delegates. It is hoped to reach ! &■ final settlement to-morrow. A British communique states that the ' lAllied delegates readily assembled. Several objections were raised by • Ismet, but there are still a few points : unsettled. ] A reply by the Angora Government \ regarding the peace conference has been received. It suggests that a confer- , «nee be held at Smyrna on the 20th, ; and requests the inclusion of Russia, , and Georgia.—Reuter. '
