Following the reported discovery of a rat suffering from plague at Kelvin Grove, the Mayor of Brisbane has made charges against the authorities in Sydney, alleging they are not "properly carrying out supervisory measures, also thatl plagued rats were being caught in Sydney, whence he claimed tBV Kelvin Grove specimen came in a Shipment of produce.
