THRACE GOES TO TURKS.

CONSTANTINOPLE, Oct. 5. ■■--,- The Turks are retiring from •Chanak. , The agreement has been confirmed. It gives Thrace to the Turks, and a joint Turkish and Allied commission will control. Constantinople. '\*;: LONDON, Oct. 4. The Greeks have joined the Mudania conference. The delegates are discussing Thrace, which is not included in -, the preliminary agreement. Messages from Smyrna state the Allied generalsy with M. Bouillon, met Ihmet. Pasha and Fezir Pasha in the first conference at the Turkish gendarmerie. The talk lasted 90 minutes. A fervent desire for an agreement was expressed by both sides, the Turkish viewpoint coinciding with that of the Allies on all important points, and the principle of certain objections being advanced by the Turks in a conciliatory manner. The Greek delegates, Colonel Plasteirs, one of the leaders of the revolution, and Colonel Sameannis, arrived on Wednesday, and were present at the second conference, which considered the problem of Thrace.
