ALLEGED BREAKING AND ENTERING.

(by telegraph—press association.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 2. Reginald William Gunn was charged at the Supreme Court, before Mr Justice Chapman and a jury, with, breaking and entering the Paekakariki refreshment rooms on January 7; also with receiving £40, knowing "it to have been stolen. He pleaded not guilty. Mr Macassey,- Crown Prosecutor, said that Gunn had provided the ear and benzine for the exploit. He mentioned that the person hitherto called X was one Tom Wright. He then proceeded to call evidence on the lines o? that given in the Magistrate's Court.
