IA n t£- Hookliam, W. C. Weston, and G. Fraser. : Various matters in connection with1 •the hunt's annual race meeting, to be held on September 2, were discussed and arranged. So far as complimentary tickets Is concerned it was. decided, in commen with other clubs, that these be must be considerably curtailed, and the matter will be finally settled at a future meeting. In the meantime, however, it was decided to reduce the charges lor admission, which were fixed as follows: Outside gates, men 2s. 6d, ladies free; lawn, men 6s, ladies 2s 6d. Mr L. Rea was appointed to superintend the totalisation and Messrs Fraser and McLeod were appointed totalisator stewards. It was reported that application had been made to the Railway Department to delay the departure of the afternoon train from New Plymouth, and also asking that arrangements be made which will permit of horses returning to Stratford and Hawera the same night. Mr J. Cameron was appointed judge.
