Received July 31, 10.55 a.m. | SYDNEY, July 31. ; Mr. Massy GreeJie is of the opinion that- though the New Zealand tariff agreement was born of compromise it will be useful in promoting trade, especially in Australian wines. Previously the balance of trade was 5 to 1 in favour of Australia. The agreement established a principle that might be extended to other countries.
