There .-are indications that the irregulars are making a strong effort to arrest the ixnarch of the nationals upon Cork. Numerous bands of irregulars have "ibeea driven out of Buree after a stiff resistance, and twenty were taken -prisoner. The fighting continues in '.Mid-Tipperary. At Cashel the "Nationals took twenty-six prisoners and :an armoured car. It is persistently reported that De Yalera has sailed for America to raise •further funds. The latest advices, however, state that he is commanding the line from Cloninel to Waterford. 'This position is menaced from several -points. Substantial irregular resistance is •expected in a triangle formed by three strong military centres, Buttevant, TMallow, and Fermoy. The Nationalists ■are now attacking Kilmallock and •' Charleville. ' *. There has been an outbreak in West "Clare. -A Protestant Church was "turned and a farmer murdered. The ■walnton destruction of property has '■evoked a growing public demand for ■penalties on the wreckers. The 'Government has appealed to the population for help in the prevention of ■crime by capturing wreckers. » A parish priest at Wexford, who' marshalled his "whole flock to clear the Toads, showed the right way. ■ '
