Mr Herbert moved as an amend ment and Mr Davies seconded that cartage be charged as usual. ' The amendment was carried It was moved and seconded that interest be paid on fully P aid-up shares +W«Qw m7l d as-, an amendment that no interest be paid. There was no seconder to Mr Quin's amendment and the- motion was carried j , + A motion on favour "of fixing directors, fees for the coming season at 7s 6d I per meeting was rejected in favour of' v paying 10s per meeting. It was decided that cow-testing be carried on as usual, the fee being 2s* per Mr RD. Robertson. N.Z. representative of the firm of Andrew Clement and toons, Ltd.. addressed the shareholders on the subject of the marketimr of New Zealand produce. &' Votes of thanks were a-mrded the Tdirectors of the company and Mr Camp-j hell the factory manager. j Mr H. A. Lennon was reappointed auditor at the same remuneration as last year. The retiring directors were Messrs Hawken and Marsh, both of whom v;er© Te-elected unopposed.
