DR RATHENAU.

HUNT FOB ASSASSINS.

LUDENDORFF ARRESTED.

BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION--.' BERLIN, July 12.

The search for Kern and Fischer, Dr. Rathenau's assassins, is developing into an amazing man-hunt in Central Prussia. The police command consists of hundreds of armed motor ears, bicycles and dogs.

The fugitives were first traced to Lenzen, on the Elbe, where they were nearly captured. Thence they were chased through Mecklenburg and Hanover, into Saxony. They are now withing a cordon from which escape is believed to be impossible. If, however, they succeed in reaching Bavaria they will escape.

Ludendorf- was arrested in connection with Dr Rathenau's assassination. He was taken to the police station, but was released after making a statement.
