BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATTON-^-COPYRZORT LONDON, May 27. Mr. Solly Joel states that Pendoland's prospects for the Derby are good, and whatever beats him will win. The I trainer is quite satisfied regarding his condition. He cantered six furlongs twice at "Newmarket to-day, moving well. Lord Queensborough, the owner of St. Louis, addressing a school gathering in London, said he wished he could [give an absolutely sure tip for the |Derby. "But I ask you to pray for rain, and the better St. Louis will run." LONDON, May 26.7 Pendoland appeared at the customary exercise time to-day with a bandaged leg. He walked a distance instead of galloping. It is reported he is suffering from aboil behind the leg. Nevertheless one report declared that he walked soundly.
