SYDNEY, May 27. At the Stadium Charley Ring (lOst Sib) defeated Frank Griffin (lOst 111b) in twelve rounds, the latter skying the towell.' Ring wore the,, New Zealander down wi.th lefts to the face, severely punishing him, and had him staggering when the towel was thrown in. The contest was very witling, but the fighting was mostly of a wild order.
