CORONATION BALL
Tlie combined bands Queen Carnival Coronation Ball is to be held on Monday next, when little Miss O. Marchant will be crowned. The ball promises to
be one of the most successful ever held in the district. The queen's dress and] those of all her attendants are now finished and look extremely pretty. All matters of detail are well in hand, and everything promises to go off without a hitch. The crowning ceremony will be conducted by the Mayor, Mr G. W. .Tayler, while the whole direction will Ibe carried out by Mr N. D. Connell. The children are promised a good time for the first hour and a half, followed by the crowning ceremony, after which there will be dancing by the adults. The supper is in the hands of Mr J. Cooper, who is out to make a name for himself. Giveii a fine night the Town Hall will scarcely hold the promised patrons.
