Members of th©. local etufci will be very gfad to get once mere on the 18----hole course. To play the nine and then turn round and play them agaia takes a lot of the interest out of toe game. The second nine holes are re-pts-ted by the. committee to be ra»idlv-
coming into good rorm, while the greens are. excellent. The competitions are now well under way, and are evoking keen competition. The standard of play should rapidly improve from now on to the end of the season. The weather during Oh® last two week-ends and holidays has been far from good, and consequently has taken -away a lot of interest and keenness.
