KAPONGA.
(From Our Own Correspondent*) There were so few householders at the meeting here on Monday night that a committee could not be elected.
The balance sheet was received, and considered very satisfactory, showing a credit balance of £25.
The following gentlemen were nomi7iated for the committee for the following year: Messrs J. Guy, C. S. Hili. Hislop, Harding, Kehely, Sadler, and Betts.
Mr. C. S. HHI was elected secretary
