Already there are mufinurs of dissention within the ianks,' and Mr A. Cave is forming a party with . the expressed object of keeping the GovJ ernment up to the collar. Mr Oavo's party consists of a number of self> styled Protestant members, including some prominent Nationalists, who aie anxious for the Government to carry out the promises made by certain members in regard to the Government inspection of denominational institutions, making the Ne Temere decree illegal and bthef similar matters. Also, while the Progressive Party has de-ided to give a sort of general support to the it which wish ,to make its life as unpleasant as possible. i .
