HARVEST KING'S FAILURE. EXPLAINED.

Toohey, rider of the Cup favourite, Harvest King, which finished in the ruck, explains the poor showing, stating that he was going; well till nine furlongs was reached. He was then squeezed and received a hard bump, which affected his wind and absolutelysettled his chance.
