LONDON PRODUCE MARKETS

The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London office, under date 7th inst.:

Butter. —Market weak and irregular. Finest, 180s to 184s per cwt. Cheese.—Slow. Coloured 92s to 945, white 86s to 88s.

Frozen meat. —There js a fair demand for mutton and the market is firm. The lamb market is well supplied and the demand is slightly weakejv There is more inquiry for beef, but no material improvement in values at present. Wethers^ light 7id to Bid per Ib, heavy 6Jd_to 7Jdj ewes, s^d to 6id; lamb, lid to 12d : , seconds 10^d to 10|d; ox, hinds 3£d to 4|d, fores 2|d to 3id; cow, hinds 3d to 3Jd, fores 2d to 2£d.
