WELLINGTON, April 11. The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has been in communication with the Port of London Authority in an endeavour to obtain a reduction in the charges for frozen produce in London. A cable has now been received by the board that the Port of London Authority has reduced the charges from April 10 as follows: Management rate, including receiving in store, piling to marks, weighing, delivery and rent for 28 days, reduced from 44s 6d per" ton to 42s 9d per ton; rent after 28 days, reduced from a maximum of 37s 6d per ton to a maximum of 34s 6d per ton for the first month and 33s per ton for the second and subsequent months.
