The average figures for the period show Government deposts £4,----506,449, a decrease of £1,792,955 on the corresponding quarter of 1921; free deposits, £80,138,746, a decrease of £6,----646,459; fixed deposits, £16,221,644, a decrease of £148,881; advances, £44,----752,177, a decrease of £4,743,956; discounts, £1,739,138, a decrease of £1,----211,070; note circulation,. £7,510,451, a decrease of £319,755; coiu and bullion, £7,777,980, an increase of £115,422.
