FIRE AT ROTORUA.
THREE SHOPS SUFFER

A fire occurred in Arawa Street last night, and the premises of Walden, tobacconist and billiard saloon keeper, and McNeely, fancy |oods, were badly damaged. Mrs. Dannefaerd's (Maori curios) was damaged through being soaked with water. The premises were owned by W. J. Robinson. The insurances are: McNeely £450. Walden £400. The amount on the stock is not available.
