Honeyfield, president of une association, in a "brief speech, welcomed Mr. W. A. Collins, chairman of the Wanganui Education Board, and asked Mr. Collins to present the medals and the Strouts Cup to the winners. Mr. Collins expressed the pleasure it gave him to be present. He then called upon Mr. Strouts to present the Strouts Challenge Cup to the Patea School, Diana Roberts and C. Miles receiving the cup on behalf of the school. Mr. Collins then presented the medals as under f—• 100 yards championship and 220 yards championship—H. Hurley (Waitotara). 120 yards hurdles championship—L.
