OTIRA TONNEL.
(BY TELEGEAPH —PBESS ASSOCIATION.) CHBISTCHUBCH, Mar. 26. As a result of his visit of inspection of the Otira tunnel, the Hon. J. G. Coates states that generally the work is proceeding satisfactorily. He does not anticipate any alteration of his previous statement that the line through the tunnel will be in operation about the end of the present year.
