SAVINGS BANK RETURNS
FIGURES FOR SEPTEMBER QUARTER. (BY TELECttA.yfI—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 28". The'quarterly Savings Bank returns show that deposits at September 30 were £7,631,891. as compared with £8,639,395 last year. Withdrawals were £5,087,725, as against £8,070,403. The excess of the latter over deposits was £455,834, whereas in September last year deposits exceeded, withdrawals by £"568,992.
