GENERAL
A large number of minor measures are ready for the attention of Parliament, more work than usual being i_t its final stages of drafting. These inw* a A^ eni m??^ s _of the Noxious WeedVAct, Rabbit Nuisance Act Animals Act, and a number of consolidations which have, been prepared by ex-Judge Chapman. Apart from actual legislation,, there are other big questions reouiring attention. The Imperial ConSerenee will nave to receive consideration; there is the^report of the Racing Commission, highly charged with controversy-and the questions of immigration unemployment and retrenchment "in the public service. The House: will need, to sit -well into the new year if it is; clean up tne big programme now in prospect
