CONVENTION AT AUCKLAND.

AUCKLAND, Sept. 18: The fourth annual meeting and convention of the- motor garage proprietors and cycle traders' associations of j New Zealand was opened this morning. I Mr. D. Crozier (of Christchurch), prei sident, was in the cKair and the members present .were representative of man T districts of the Dominion, some coming from as far south as Inyercargiil. * " -■-.-. ; - During the course of the convention . members will meet in deputation • all local members of Parliament on Wednesday afternoon, and will discuss with, tjiem. the following points : Tariff mattery the Arterial Roads Bill, universal traffic regulations registration of cars, and transport of petrol.
