ERNEST DRAKE CONCERT

Hawera is very fortunate in having a visit from Mr. Ernest Drake who is recently back from England" with concert honours thick upon him. He was acclalm«d by leading critics as the finest lyric tenor of the day. In his concert programme he will be assisted by Mr. E. Thomas, the baritone singer from Wanganui, who scored such a great success at Hawera some month* ago. The concert, which will be held on Tuesday next, in the Opera House,, is under the auspices of the Hawera Male Choir. It is an event that will be looked for with keen interest by all lovers of good music.
