Cable news has been received, that the Port Lyttelton left Panama on August 10 for Auckland, en route from London. The vessel'is due at Wellington a week later. From Wellington she will go to Napier to complete i discharge. The Kowhai, which brought 800 tons of coal to New Plymouth from Westport, was completing discharge on Saturday, and is scheduled to leave today at noon for Gre/mouth. The collier Kaituna is loading a cargo of coal at Newcastle for New Plymouth, and is expected there at an : early date. Definite advice has not yet lieen received.
The Corinna, which was due to sail from Dunedin on Saturday night, en route for New Plymouth, will call at other South Island ports and also at Wellington. The vessel is expected at New Plymouth about Sunday nest. The Makura is due to arrive at' Auckland on August 26 from Vancouver, via norts. She is bringing 283 passengers, W'whom 184 are for Auckland. She sails at 5 o'clock on the same evening for Sydney. The Dorset is due at "Auckland on the 23rd instant from Liverpool, via , Panama. The vessel has a number of • immigrants and part cargo for Auckland. She will subsequently come to Wellington to discharge portion of her cargo. '
The steamer Port' Bowen, now discharging Liverpool cargo at Auckland, is to leave the latter port on Tuesday for Wellington, where shn is due on Thursday, - -
