The totalisator investments were £72,647, against £89,100 on the corresponding day of last year. Results:— Longbeach Hunters' Hurdles—Red Blaze (G. King) 1 Likelihood 2 Birkenvale 3. All started. Won by two lengths, a neck between second and third. Time, 3.10 1-5. Aylesbury Steeplechase—Tigerland (W. H. Bowden) 1, John Bunny 2, Joffre 3. Also started: Fire Eater who was six lengths away. Time, 5.16*. Heathcote Handicap—Prince Martian (R. S. Bagby) 1, Caverock 2;Hiexo 3. Scratched; Cantoris. Won-by half a length, two lengths between second and third. Time, 1.30. Styx Hurdles—Master Boris (S. J alls)l, Tigritiya 2, Te Oro 3. Scratched: Glenhupai. Won by four lengths, five lengths between the second and third.' Time, 3.3. Phil May and Indus fell, and Silverlea ran off. Sydenham Hurdlesr—Explorer (N X McDonnell) 1, Multive 2, Sir Fanciful 3. Scratched: Hyttus." Won by ten lengths, two lengths between second and third.
