RACING COMMISSION'S REPORT.
(BY. TELEGP.AI'H—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) TE "KUITI, Aug. 11. A general meeting of the Te Kuiti Racing Club resolved that the club congratulates the Government on the appointment of the Racing Commission, and expresses appreciation of the qualifications of the members of the Commission, in which they had exceptional opp6rturjities for judging* the merits of the various clubs' applications for extra; permits. In view of these facts the club expresses absolute confidence in the Commission's findings, and pledges support to the Government in putting the Commission's report into effect.
It was further proposed to take the same attitude at a meeting of the Auckland Province Country Clubs' Association., an,-.! .to ask other clubs to back the Commission.
The club also intends sending*^ delegate to Wellington when the Bill is before Parliament to support "the claims.
