AUCKLAND, Aug. 11. ■* Mrs G. E. Alderton, 60 years of age, of Remuera, died in hospital to-night as the result of a motor accident in Remuera road. She alighted from a tram car and went around the back of the car, and was struck by a motor on the other set of rails. She succumbed an "hour later.
