THEFT OF POSTAL PACKETS.
(BY TELEGBAPH—'PRESS ASSOCIATION.) PALMERSTON N.-, Aug. 10. At the Supreme Court Herbert Chote appeared for sentence, having pleaded guilty to two charges of theft of postal packets containing £3 and £1 10s at Danneyirke. The prisoner was adinitfjed to probation.
