Germany is now Yorkshire's best customer for wool tops. She imported? 654,0001bs in June, compared with 311,0001bs in May. During May and June 16,000,0001bs of re-exported foreign and colonial wool went to Germany, 9,000,000158 to Belgium, and 6,500,0001bs to France. During the half year Britain retained 720,599 bales, re-exporting 366,571 bales.
At the. B.A.W.R.A. sales there was restrained competition. Merinos an<t crossbreds declined 10 per cent.
