FIRE IN CLOTHIER'S PREMISES.
(BY TELRGRAPH— PKKSS ASSOCIATION ) a « WELLINGTON, June 11. A^- fire, occun-ed this afternoon in a wooden building at the corner of Bowen street and Lambton Quay, occupied by Smith (clothier). The fire broke out Z the upper storey, which is let in separate rooms, and the outbreak origmS' lnr^ flOmv 0, CCUPied by Anderson (chiropodist), which was completely gutted and the contents were destroyed. The, brigade soon got the flames under and the damage dont to other rooms +l aSum^ y °y water- U is understood the building and contents are insured.
