IBY TELF.GRAPB- —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, May 10. The. Wellington Presbytery approved to-night suggestions made by the General Assembly Union Committee for the union of the Congregational and Presbyterian Churches of the Dominion.

Dr. Gibb, moving the adoption of the articles, stated that the consummation of the union would mean that every Congregational minister became a minister of the United Presbyterian and Congregational Church, and all churches and other property of the Congregational Union became the property of the United Church. He pointed out that it was expressly provided that no union could take place until the articles were approved by the various churches, and an Act of Parliament passed conserving to the United Church the properties respectively held by the two churches. There was no danger, therefore, of any such debacle as that of the "Wee Frees," which, resulted from the misdoing of the House of Lords.
