,The Gisborne# district health inspector (Mr. F. G. York) last week seised j «. large quantity of meat from one of the local freezing works, it being in his opinion totally unfit.for human consumption. On examination it was found that with 2137 lb putrefaction had set in, and the meat was badly fly-blown. In consequence it had been condemned by the inspector, who had afterwards reported the matter to him.
