(Received Feb. 17, 12.45 p.m.) DELHI, Feb. 16. After the withdrawal of Mr Jamnadass' resolution the Legislative Assembly adopted a motion declaring the firm resolve of the Government of! India to maintain that the connection of India with the British Empire is based on the principle of equal partnership with perfect racial equality, Indian lives and honour being held as ascred as British lives and honour. .
The Viceroy, travelling from Delhi to Calcutta by train, was beld up by non-co-operators and extremists near Allahabad. The Viceroy was compelled to return to* Delhi.
