JUDGMENT FOR DEFENDANT.'
(BY TELEGRAPH —PBESS ASSOCIATION.)
AUCKLAND, Feb. \7. At the Arbitration Court, Lilian Brinsley claimed £520 compensation for the death of her husband from the Hikurangi Coal Co. Brinsley, when using a track alongside the railway line, was struck! by an engine. The Court found that although the railway line was habitually used as a means of access to mine workings, there was no necessity to use it, and gave judgment for defendant.
