SINN FEIN M.P. ARRESTED.

Mr Bromley adds: "Ifjiope enquiries will convince you of tbe absolute necessity of acting in a manner which will .give the railwaymen proper protection from violence from any party." , I The military enquiry into the case of the railwaymen -shot at Mallow, after xidjourning for .five days while the relatives of the deceased vainly endeavoured to procure evidence, returned a verdict of murder -against persons unknown.
' LONDON, Feb. 12. A hundred armed men fired on a military train between Mallow and Tralee, and one'soldier wa« killed and several (wounded.
A party of Sinn Femers, estimated at three hundred, attacked the polioe barracks at Drimoleague at midnight with rifles .and bomffs. A relieving party of auxiliaries was summorfed from Dunmanway, and finding the asttackers. had escaped they immediately Cflled out. from their beds all males and foroeg 4hem .at the revolver point, to repair the damage' to the 'barracks and adjoining .buildings.
Desmond-Fitzgerald, a member of the House of 'Commons, and head of the Sinn Fein propaganda department, 3ias been arrested in "Dublin.
