GOLF.
BOGEY SCORES.
BY CABIS—PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT LOJTxJmIn, Feb. 11. The Ladies' Golf Union has adopted, a system of basing bogey scores on ther.length of holes, as the only way of standardising handicaps. The Australian and New Zealand experience is cited in favour of the method. It was also decided to recognise plus handicaps. It is understood in circles that Vardon and Ray are not likely to accept an invitation to visit Australia, m* but it is believed Braid and Tom Fer- ' nic (the Scottish golf champion) are not adverse to visiting the Common- - wealth if they received a satisfactory invitation.
