' V I Evidence of a crime was revealed in an inquest held into the circumstances of the death of an infant whose body , was found oil the foreshore at ThornI don. ; I Dr. C. M. Hector, who made the post- ; mortem examination, states that the ' body was that of a newly-born male child. He found that the skull had | been fractured and the scalp much bruised. There was no doubt that the child was born alive, and the marks on the head were probably the result of blows inflicted while the child was alive. | j The Cojoner decided to adjourn the inquest to enable further evidence to be produced.
