A deputation from the Foreign Mis- ■ sions Committee of the Presbyterian' Church of New Zealand waited on Mr Massey. The deputation stated }& c views of the committee on the N©w Hebrides situation, especially the value commercially and strategically; also the claim of the British missionary societies to Imperial consideration and the necessity for something to be done to alter the present dual control .system. ,

Mr Massey. in a sympathetic repiy, said he would do all in his power to mend matters.
