LONDON, Feb. 9The Sinn Feiner McGinn wa s sentenced to ten years' penal servitude, and the Sinn Feiners MacErlan©, Clark and Doherty to eight years, for wounding a policeman at Bothwell Armed men held the approaches', to Wellington Quay, Dublin, while eight men looted a jeweller's shop of, £3000 worth of goods. * ■
Joseph Jordbn, a rate collector, of Ballagadeiron, who was kidnapped"* three months ago, and who claimed £10,000 as compensation was awarded. 1&J210, on tSe ground of .personal injuriee and damage to his furniture. His captors forced him to sign cheques for £700 and £800, which were cashed. Armed men at Droheda took Alexander Halpin and John Moran from their feeds and shot them outside their houses. The bodies will be taken to the military ibarra'cks, where an enquiry will be held. It is stated that both were Sinn Feiners.
