(Special.) (Received Dec. 17, 3 p.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 17. Armstrong won the toss, Macartney and Collins opening the batting on a splendid wicket.. Mayne and Fender were omitted. The- weather is fine, but n strong nor'-wester is blowing. The score is one wicket for 41 rung— Macartney 19, Collins (not out) 16. Later. Two wickets for 80—Collins (not out) 30, Bardsley 22.
