AUCKLAND- Dec 16.. The shortage of trucks has again reduced the output of the Waikato collieries, and the Taupiri Coal' Mines. Ltd., during the past sev>en days has lost over 1000 tons through this cause alone. "It is particularly unfortunate that the coal supply should be- reduced at the present time," said a representative of one of the companies to-day! "It means that we wall be. unaftle to make provision for essential users fo.r, the holiday period, and some- of these people will be in dire straits.
