SCHOOL SHIELD MATCH
tBY TEI/EGRAFH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. ) PALMERSTON N., Dec. 16. The Heathcote Williams shield match between Napier High School (challengers), and Palmerston North School (holders), opened this morning. Napier won the toss, and elected to bat. Wickets fell quickly and their side was dismissed for 47 in less than an hour. Hay (17 not out) was the only double figure reached
Bowling analysis: Harrison, six for 17; Hodder, three for 23. Pahnerston, in their first1 innings, had three wickets down for 58 at the luncheon adjournment.
