LONDON WOOL SALES.
Messrs Murray Roberts and Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London agents, Messrs banderson Murray, under date 11th inst.:—"Free wool sale, December 10. Market weak and irregular. Inferior descriptions difficult to sell. Compared with appraised prices we quote approximately: Merino of average condition and scoured merino 10 per cent, hio-her: comeback scoured par; crossbred scoured, line, 20 per cent, lower; crossbred scoured medium, 30 per cent, lower: crossbred scoured, coarse, 35 per cent lower. No other descriptions offered.'' Newton King, Ltd.,- reports:— At Urenui, on 6th December, woolly hoggets realised 255, woolly wethers 29s to 32s 6d, ewes and lambs 31s, dry ewes (woolly) 255. store cows £5 17s 6d to £6 5s forward do. £7 10s to £8 ss, fat cows £10 10s, yearling heifers £3 Is 15-month do. £4 Us to £5 9s 6d, empty heifers £5 17s 6d to £7 4s, yearline steers £2 10s to £3 17s 3 2-year-old do £o 7s ed, springing heifers £9 5s to £10 15s, choicer do. £15 to £15 15s, 2-year Jersey bull £26. At Stony River, on 7th inst., store pigs brought 32s to 38s, vealers £3 10s store cows £6 10s to £7 10s, forward do. £8 7s 6d to £9 17s 6d, 15-month fe^f 4 7« to £410s ' emPty heifers ±,b Us 6ct to £9, in-calf Jersey cows £11 15s, springing heifers £8 15s to £11 10s, better quality do. £12 10s to £14 10s, heifers in profit £11 10s to £13 15s springing cows £10 10s to £16, dairy cows £13 30s, yearling bulls £5 7s 6d to £6 2s 6d, Shorthorn bull £18 10s. On Thursday, 9th inst., we conducted a clearing sale at Lepperton on account of Mr J. Payne. Dairy cows £9 10s to £12, better sorts £17 10s to £29 springing heifers £6 10s to £12 10s store cows £7 15s to £10 10s, sow and litter £5 to £9, 7-year-old mare. £32 10s.
