BILLIARDS.
LONDON, Dec. 10
The leading billiard players and firms gave a luncheon to Hooper at the 01----ficial headquarters. Hooper said thh would be his last championship effort, owing to failing eyesight. Mr Dixon, chairman of the Billiards' Council, presented Hooper with a diamond studded gold medal, struck by the late Billiards' Association in honour of thr> Australasian championship, which could not be presented before owing to the war's interruption.
